Wednesday
U13 Boys | Athea United 4–1 St Ita’s AFC
The Saints were defeated away to Athea United. Conal Deely got on the scoresheet for St Ita’s with a consolation goal.
U14 Girls | St Ita’s AFC 2–1 GMU
A fantastic comeback victory for the U14 Girls in Ashford. After falling behind, the Saints showed great character to turn the game around and secure all three points. An own goal and a goal from Grace Cregan completed the comeback.
Friday
U12 Girls | Blackhill FC 0–2 St Ita’s AFC
A brilliant away victory for the U12 Girls in Ardagh. Gerianna Scanlon and Emily Hogan were on target as the Saints secured a well-earned 2–0 win.
Saturday
U14 Girls | St Ita’s AFC v Shountrade
Fixture postponed due to the unavailability of a referee.
U16 Girls | Glin 1–0 St Ita’s AFC
A hard-fought contest for the U16 Girls, who narrowly lost away to Glin. The Saints conceded just before half-time and were desperately unlucky not to level the game shortly after the break, when a goal-line clearance with the goalkeeper beaten denied them an equaliser.
U15 Boys | GB Rovers 7–2 St Ita’s AFC
The U15 Boys faced a very strong GB Rovers side in a challenging away fixture. Trailing 2–0 at half-time, the Saints showed great spirit in the second half, with Liam McEnery and Daniel Clinton finding the net. GB Rovers continued to add to their tally, however, as the game finished 7–2
