U12 Boys v Creeves Celtic
The U12 Boys welcomed Creeves Celtic to Ashford for what proved to be an entertaining and hard-fought encounter. Early in the second half, Michael Reidy was brought down in the box and confidently converted the resulting penalty to level the game. St Ita’s came agonisingly close to taking the lead shortly after, when a swift attack saw Jamie strike the post, Oisín Ambrose hit the rebound off the opposite upright, and Liam’s follow-up effort smartly saved by the Creeves goalkeeper.
Creeves Celtic showed their clinical edge midway through the half, restoring their advantage with a well-taken finish from a corner. They sealed the win with the final kick of the game, adding a third to secure all three points.
