U14 Boys

The U14 Boys kicked off the Monday games with a midday fixture in Deerpark against Adare Utd. The hosts started strongly and took a deserved 2–0 lead into the break after a dominant first half.

After the restart, the Saints showed the quality that has kept them at the top of the table. Goals from Ruairí and Isaac McEnry brought the sides level at 2–2, setting up an exciting finish. Despite creating several chances to win it — including hitting the woodwork twice and being denied by excellent goalkeeping in two one-on-one situations — the lads were unable to find the decisive goal. A strong second-half performance nonetheless.

U15 Girls

The U15 Girls made the trip to Fealeside to face Abbeyfeale United FC. With a number of players unavailable and a small panel to begin with, it was always going to be a challenging encounter against a physical home side.

Our girls competed brilliantly in the first half, matching Abbeyfeale in all areas and going into the break with the score level at 0–0. As the second half wore on and fatigue set in — with only one substitute available — the hosts took advantage, scoring twice to secure a 2–0 win. Despite the result, it was a brave and determined display from the team under difficult circumstances.
