The U8’s kick off their season and the games for the day when they traveled to Ardagh to play Kilcolman Rovers A.F.C. Both sides played excellent soccer and shows the future is bright in both clubs.
U10 Boys welcomed Creeves Celtic to Ashford. Plenty of goals scored in a tough battle between the sides.
U12 Boys had a mid day kickoff when they played Glantine F.C. The saints put in a great display to get their 1st win of the season. Scoring 2 goals in each half for a final score of 4-1. Liam Mcenry, John joe Sullivan, Micheal Reidy and Charlie Cremin with the goals.
U14 Girls were in National Cup action when they welcomed Knockainey AFC for the final game of the day. The girls played well continuing the good play from last week. But they came up against a strong and well organised side in the visitors who lead by 1 at half time, and extended there lead in the second half to win 3-0 at the final whistle. Our girls never gave up and played to the end.
