It was a busy Tuesday evening with 2 underage teams playing in lovely sunny conditions.
U12 Girls played their last game of the season when they hosted the unbeaten Shannonside Fc. Girls needed 3 points if they wanted to stay in the hunt for a shield final spot. The girls played their hearts out and came away with a hard fought victory over a good team. Final score 2-1 Isabella Larkin and Naoise Cronin with the goals. Unfortunately other results went against them and they missed out on the final by a point, but can be proud of their great effort they shown all season
U13 Boys travelled to kildimo to play Dromore United FC on a fine sunny evening. The lads acquitted themselves well in the 1st half going in level at the break 1-1 isaac McEnery with a deflected shot for the saints. Unfortunately with most of the team made up of U12 players who had played 24 hrs earlier against GB Rovers, the 2nd half lacked the energy and creativity from the first period. The home side took advantage of this and scored 3 without reply. FT 4-1 to Dromore.
