It was a day of mixed results for the underage sides today.

U14 Girls were first to play when they welcomed a strong
GB Rovers team to Ashford this morning.
It was a tough first half with the Girls giving as good as they got but the visitors scored late on the half to go in at the break a goal to the good.
H-T   0-1
Second half the visitors took more control of the game scoring 3 more goals. But the Girls never gave up and gave their all until the final whistle.

U12 Boys travelled to Ardagh to take on Kilcolman Rvs.
It was a tough game with the hosts on top for periods of the first half. Both sides having chances.
H-T 0-0.
Second half followed the same pattern with both side having chances with the hosts shading the chances. But with 10 minutes left to play 2 goals in quick succession swung the game in our favour and that’s how it finished up.
F-T 2-0

Final game of the day was the U16 Boys game.
They traveled fealeside to take on Abbeyfeale, buoyed by a hard fought draw against Rathkeale in their last game. Although they had a depleted squad the team gave their all, and took the lead in the 20 minute with a goal from Bobby Gore. This stirred the host to action and  they scored 2 goals to take a lead into halftime.
H-T 2-1
Second half the host brought on fresh legs and with no subs on our side fatigue was always going to be an issue. But the team gave everything they had in the 2nd period.
F-T  3-1
