Our U12 Boys started their season with a tough game against Rathkeale AFC Wednesday evening in Ashford.
The visitors settled in quickly and took the lead in the 5th minute after the latched to a loose ball after a good save from our keeper. After the goal the saint’s took control of the game and put pressure on their defence continuously but couldn’t find the goal to pull level. Half-Time 0-1
Second half our lads kept up the pressure and were rewarded with the equaliser after a great run by Iarlaith down the right hand side and he rifled the ball into the roof of the net. We kept the pressure on but just couldn’t get the winning goal.
